Synopsis
Marcelo, a 40-year-old man who works as a teacher specializing in technology, leaves the bustling city of São Paulo and goes to Recife. He tries to escape his violent and mysterious past, with the intention of starting a new life. He arrives there during Carnival week, and soon the peace and quiet of the city disappears, and as time goes by he realizes that he has attracted the chaos he always wanted to escape from. To make matters worse, in addition to Marcelo being spied on by his neighbors, he realizes that the city he thought would welcome him is far from being his refuge.
